PROVERBS 17:22 Want to hear a funny story? I've got a lot of them, and they come from things that happened in my ordinary, everyday life. Now, I wasn’t laughing when those stories were in the making, but I’m glad I can laugh about them now. For example, I didn’t think it was funny when I couldn’t get my hair to stay in place, but if you’d seen what I did about it, you certainly would have laughed. It wasn’t amusing when I tried to make clothes, especially for the people who had to wear them. And I was so irritated when Dave threw paper towels over the grocery store aisle at me, but I realize now, he just knew how to have a little fun no matter what he was doing. I’m glad I’ve learned to look at times like these and see the humor in them.       A happy heart is good medicine     Now, I know that not everything in life is necessarily enjoyable, but I think we all need to learn to have more fun in our lives. And I bet if you took time to think about it every day, you could find a moment that brought you joy or that you can laugh about now. God wants His children to have some fun. The Bible says, A happy heart is good medicine. I think we all need a healthy dose of laughter every day—many times during the day. You just can’t overdose on joy! I encourage you to deliberately look for something to smile or laugh about every day...and be sure to share a smile or a laugh with someone else and brighten their day too! Prayer Starter: Lord, Your Word says that a cheerful heart is like good medicine. DIGGING DEEPER         11/10/2014   I am Thankful for God's Blessings             Band Building 429 shares what they're thankful for.   It’s hard enough for parents to avoid impulse shopping, so how can they expect to teach their kids the importance of patience? That’s an issue Rachel Cruze talks about in Smart Money Smart Kids, the New York Times #1 best seller she co-authored with her dad, Dave Ramsey. Patience Is a Virtue . . . Really One of the best ways to avoid a bad purchase is to simply wait overnight.   Regardless of how young or old you are, waiting overnight before making a big purchase completely changes the buying decision. That was the rule in our house growing up-even for my parents. Dad's a spender. So early on, Mom and Dad agreed that neither one of them would spend $300 or more without first talking to each other about the purchase and waiting at least overnight so they could sleep on it. I can't tell you how many things Dad didn't buy because they didn't seem as important the next morning. I remember the day Mom suggested this delay technique to me. I was thirteen years old, and Mom and I were out shopping. I saw a shirt that I really liked, but I kept going back and forth on the decision. I’d look at it, hold it up and look in the mirror, then put it back down. This went on for a little while, but I ended up deciding to buy it (with my own hard-earned money, of course). My mom watched all this happen, and she strongly encouraged me to put the shirt on hold overnight so I could think about it some more. I said something like, “But, Mom, I really like it. If I leave it here, someone else will buy it!”       Patience Is a Virtue     My mom is really wise about this stuff, and she finally convinced me to leave it with the sales clerk—after I made the salesperson promise three separate times that the shirt would still be there waiting for me the next day. Can you guess what happened? By the time we got home, I had decided that I didn’t really want the shirt after all. The next day, I had forgotten all about it. I never went back to get it from the sales clerk who swore she’d hold it for me. It might still be sitting behind a counter somewhere with my name on it. Fast-forward several years to my junior year of college, when I was in a similar situation. Only this time, Mom was two hundred miles away and I was on my own. I was in a store and saw a cardigan that I fell in love with; however, it had a $120 price tag, which definitely made it a major purchase for me. I remembered what Mom and Dad taught me about waiting overnight, so that’s what I did. The next day, I decided that I really did want it, so I went back and bought it. I loved it so much that I wore it regularly for the next five years. That was definitely a good purchase for me. Show your kids that waiting overnight takes the pressure off. It gives you permission to leave the store without the item, and once you leave the store, it’s often as though a fog lifts from your mind and you can think clearly again. If you wake up the next day and it still feels like a good purchase (and you can afford it), then it’s probably a good purchase for you. But on my arrival to the bank in Burkina Faso, the Branch Manager of the Bank whom i met in person told me that my father's instruction to the bank is that the money would only be release to me when i am married or present a trustee foreigner who will help me invest the money overseas, i am in search of an honest and reliable person who will help me and stand as my foreign trustee so that i will present him to the Bank for transfer of the money to his bank account overseas and i have chosen to contact you after my prayers and i believe that you will not betray my trust.

You may wonder why i am so soon revealing myself to you without knowing you, To me i will say that my spirit and mind convinced me that you may be the true person to help me, I will like to disclose much to you if you can help me to relocate to your country because my stepmother have threaten many times to assassinate me due to her wickedness and jealousy's because she has no issue for my father since she was married after the accident that killed my mother years back, The amount of the money deposited is($8.5 USD) Million United State Dollars, the Branch manager whom i met in person have confirmed to me that the money is there and that i am the next of kin but the only thing he told me is that my father's instruction to the bank is that the money would only be release to me when i present a trustee foreigner who will help me and invest the money overseas, and he advice me to look for a honest and reliable person who will represent me as my trustee so that their bank will release the money to me.

However, you will help by recommending a nice University in your country so that i can complete my studies. It is my intention to compensate you with 40% of the total money for your efforts and kindness services and the balance shall be my capital investment in your country. As soon as i receive your positive response showing your interest i will inform the bank that i am ready to present a foreign trustee who will receive the fund on my behalf.Please i want you to keep this only to your self for now until the bank transfer the fund. I beg you not to disclose it till i come over because i am afraid of my stepmother who has threatened to kill me and have the money alone ,I thank God today that am out from my country (KENYA) but now In (Burkina Faso) where the money is deposited.Thanks for your patient and understanding hope to hear from you .God Bless you.help me for the sake of God and humanity.We are anxiously waiting for your acceptance reply.
